In the 1980's and 90's you may have seen Mark Mason in Hollywood, Calif. as the lead singer for the rock band "AMPAGE" writing, recording and touring with bands like Def Leppard , Eric Clapton, Dramarama, Styx, David Bowie, Duran Duran and Stepenwolf, as well as actors Jeff Conaway, Corey Feldman, Gary Busey to name just a few.
Maybe you heard his songs on the radio from one of 4 albums released worldwide including the song "WORDS" which chartered 34 in the U.S. as well as writing and recording the soundtracks for 8 movies including Disneys movie "Brink".
Maybe you stopped by one of Mark's 3 yacht brokerages in California and Florida in the 2000's to look at buying that dream boat you've always wanted.
Or maybe you just saw Mark running or biking down Hwy 1 while training for the several triathlons worldwide that Mark races in every year including the "Escape From Alcatraz" coming up June 8th 2008.
In either case, Mark and his beautiful wife Pamela (also a singer/ songwriter previously with the all girl rock band "Sherok" and now a yoga instructor in Point Arena) have been living on their 22 acre ranch in Point Arena for the last 4 years, raising horses, labs, and chickens etc. They originally came up to the Mendocino coast for a week-end getaway, never even knowing this place existed. Once Mark saw the redwood forest meet the ocean he stopped the car and said "this is where I want to spend the rest of my life". They went to the first real estate broker they could find, made an offer and declared it home, and have been living here ever since and happily ever after.
